I would have thought the zenith carb would be original, that's whats on my 78 .I would recommend cleaning the contacts on the points and re gapping if you have not already done this . My car had been sat up for 10 years ,one of the problems I found was the pipe on the end of the fuel pick in the tan...

Looking really good ,interior has come up a treat .I have never seen a silver car with this colour interior and brown dash .

Awesome project ! quality work going on .

What is the difference in early and late rear panels and when did the y change?

Interesting to see it has the inner wing strengthing plates fitted, I had seen a couple of american sciroccos with them .

Were these a early feature?
