Help, rear beam bushes shot/ brackets rotten.

Help, I thought i'd check the bushes on my 1986 mk2 scirocco gt while i had it up in the air, doing the breaks and the bushes at either end of the rear beam/ axle are shot as i expeted as it was stood for a while before i got it. what i wasnt expecting was the brackets that the bushes sit in are ...

Cheers for the advice, ive cleaned out the rear arches, quite a bit of mud but surprisingly little rust, i have found a problem, i thought that as i had it up in the air i thought i would check the bushes etc, the bushes on the rear beam/axle are shot, but a lot more worrying the brackets that they ...

sounds like you speak from experience, The current plan is to leave the body kit on until i have enough cash put aside for a respray, eventualy i would like it back to its former glory, nice bright red, but like i said that'll be later, the inside looks worse, the seats are very tired and the dash ...

My Scirocco gt 1.6, it needs brakes and shocks all round for its mot and a few other bits, it had been stood for a while before i got it. it was meant to be my daily drive.... and hopefully will be soon.
