Re: My scirocco - i just love it

Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me ...
Don't be silly, it's just you ... well you and Island_boy_HSV. I'm afraid it's an affliction and the only cure is to let go and never go near another Scirocco ever, ever again.

Tell you what Jim, I'll take it off your hands if you like ...

Anybody replaced their regulators and have any advice or tips on what to look out for? (glass up or down, cutting/replacing rain sheets etc etc.)

Any input ...

Cone air filter (cold air induction) - which one

Was going to put a pancake K&N on the top of the weber but have heard of hot air issues in traffic etc so thought would go down the cone filter route down by the front light.

Anybody done this or ...

Re: Fitting Electric window switches to manual cards.

I have manual window winders on my GT and have installed Storm door cards with electric window switch holes, they are in exactly the same place as the manual winders so i would say yes.
All the felt edging at the top is in exactly the same place. the only difference between the storm cards and my ...

dash switch bulbs not working

oil light came on and have buzzing/vibration sound

Sounds like the timing blt cover could be loose and only happens at certain revs, stops if i come of the accelarator and coast in gear ...

Have now sorted the rear boot out, no pic though, but fresh carpet and sorted the rusty arch out.

Also done the dashboard and gear gaitor.
