Re: Engine swap, what I need to change?
That's the main thing I wasn't sure about if it would just plug straight in to the original fusebox box. Which looms will I have to change? Obviously the engine loom but what about dash for the MFA clocks or do I stick with original? Take it the front loom to lights and rear to fuel tank will be ...

Right guys, I just need a little help with my engine conversion. I'm going to be swapping my Mk2 GT2 EX weber carbed engine with a Mk2 GTX DX fuel injected engine. I've got a donor car and have stripped out the Engine and Gearbox along with all ancilleries, all wiring (engine, front, dash and rear ...

Re: My Mk2 Scirocco GTII
Of course the wiring too plus the ECU.
I'll check them first then. If not I'll just replace them.
Cheers

Re: My Mk2 Scirocco GTII
Hey guys, I know it's been a while and just wanted to update what I'm currently doing with my scirocco. Two things really. Firstly I've got my first feature for the car. I'm currently doing my apprenticeship with Honda and they've asked if I wanted to put my car in their news letter so I spent 3 ...

Re: Post lowering modifications
Right well replacing the NS driveshaft didnt solve the problem so i'm thinking that its the gearbox itself. I replaced my gearbox so im going to get my old one rebuilt as that was a plan of mine that I was gunna get done but never got round to it. So we'll see if that cures my problem as I've driven ...

So hopefully we'll find out if the driveshafts are the problem. :dash: All work done is either by myself or other lads who i work with that i trust and ...

Re: Post lowering modifications
Cool, well that ruled that one out.
Only way I'm gunna be able to tell is if I get another drive shaft and see if it is actually causing the noise. Anyone got a NS driveshaft lying about I could buy or have to try if I was to be Cheeky.

Re: Post lowering modifications
Sorry guys had a busy weekend and haven't had a chance to look at the car. Id previously checked all wheel bearing and there were nothing coming from them, noises or feel. The difference in angles of the drive shafts isn't massive but enough to be seen by eye. I'll try and get pics before I adjust ...

Post lowering modifications
Alright fellas, i need to know if anyone has had to carry out any other modification to their running gear after lowering their Scirocco. I've lowered mine on coilovers and i'm sure its only gone down by about 40mm. How ever its started making a noise when driving which got louder and quicker the ...
