Hi, sorry I forgot I posted this. My mk1 was upgraded with this when Neil built the car. He said it was basically a straight swap. I will post a pic.

Ouch! Broke axel then had to pay for recovery?

Easiest way to up grade to modern brakes is to fit a Chevrolet Lacetii servo/mastercylinder as on my mk1. Pretty much a straight swap.

The struts on my mk1 hold the boot easy and take quite a bit of force to close, so I can't see filler or anything making much difference.

A carport has to be open on at least 2 sides.....or you will need planning permission :)

On the subject of planning permission, it would need to be more than twice the size before this is required, looking good.......oh and someone put the concrete fence posts in upside down
