Okay thanks, don't suppose you could tell me which hose you had to change? Did you have to get a complete new hose or just mod the one already there?

Silicone hose kit, same as golf?
Hi, just wanted to double check something before ordering anything. I've got a Mk2 scala 1.8 injection, I know the engine is the same as a Mk1 golf gti but is everything else in the bay the same? Mainly the water hoses :hehe: I'll be putting my project back together soon and as some of the hoses are...

Re: mk2 scirocco help lol
Have you had the wheel alignment/tracking set up? If you have put new track arms on it especially incorrect ones there's a good chance that it will be out. It certainly wont help your tyre life. Re: My scala project
Went and collected a G60 brake set-up from my mate today  Got the callipers + carriers, virtually brand new green stuff pads and a pretty much new pair of discs that I think are brembo if I remember correctly. I've also got the adapter brackets so they can be bolted to my hubs. http://i756...

Re: My scala project
Had a bit of free time this evening after work so since I've got some painting to do under the bonnet I've decided to clean up the whole bay and give it a lick of paint. I made a start earlier and stripped everything out of the bay just the servo to get out of the way now. Before I bought the car it...

Right had a busy weekend, first of all I've been and collected an engine from Markh off the forum but that will be staying to one side for now. I've also made some good progress on the bulkhead, I'm really pleased with how its turned out :D Here's the area after cutting out the old section: http://i...

Re: My scala project
Thanks for the replies so far guys and the above link. Made some good progress today, thought I would start with the clutch/bulkhead issue and get that sorted. Looked like this: http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/xx205/knight5651/100_0195.jpg After a bit of grinding and cleaning I was left with this...
