Hi, Following my last thread, have taken off the side trims from the doors and the steel core has rusted hence the bulging. They are now obselete from VW though, anyone know where I can get my hands on new ones, is anyone remanufacturing them? Don't really want to have to stick the old ones on again ...

The trim at the base of the doors is bulging where water at the drainage points has caused rusting and the trim has been pushed out. Are these trims easy to remove and refit and will they straighten if put in a freezer ...
