I have the same issue with my MK2. I am looking for a new tank. The split in the tank is above the exhaust and the fuel runs down on to the heat shield and the muffler. I am not driving it until it is fixed.

Where is the campsite? I couldn't find a map or address.

i used 45 profile for the above reasons, definately does not rub on 45`s
you really dont want to be messing with your camber angle as its a pain to set back up once moved, plus due to the steering geometry any movements to the camber will put the tracking out.

4x100 ET25 wheels are BMW E30 wheel sizes but with a 15 x7 are a good compromise on the Scirocco as the offset gives better clearance on the front and rear struts (and the front calipers) but do not foul the wheelarch lips .

I have seen the outer sleeve squish up on some lower quality cable assemblies that I bought from a VW dealer. Is your tension adjusted correctly to accommodate cable stretch?
