Hi, only just read your post.When i replaced my front end, brakes etc. i ran a piece of timber from one side to the other, placed under the jacking points.,and put the stands each side,

hi, also check the seals around your rear tailgate push button.these perish with time and allow water to enter the boot, and as water always tries to get to the lowest point it finds its way under the rear seats along the floor, into the floor pan in the front.Sounds incredible, but it does happen ...

hi guys, try checking your rear tailgate lock seal .they have a tendency to break up and perish,the water then finds its way via the boot to the interior.Good luck Doforus

Bake again guys, whats the best way to go about fitting a bulkhead plate for the clutch cable? Seems to be very tight on accessability, especialy for my donnies!!!!

Thanks for that,Bolts dont look to bad. have to do it on drive, not got the benifit of a garage,so will await an improvement in weather. regards exhaust,want to go down complete replacement route.Seems most members are jetex fans.Do they do manifolds as well? regards Pete.

hi .iguys, said it wouldnt be long befor i needed advice. Ive got a 84 1.8 inj,have done the usual renewal of the front end susp. etc. am now moving to the back.i'd like to know the best way to take off the rear beam etc. is it best to get pieces off first or leave it till i can get it onto a bench ...

Hi everybody,A newbie called pete here,owner of my first rocco. its a 85 mk 2 gti instead of that mg thing.Needs a bit of work on her, but not to much. Mileage is 76k,never welded, and dosent seem to need it . No dout i will be on here asking what may seem like silly questions, but please bear with ...
