As you may know, our lovely Dad Sandy (Old Mac Rocco) passed away in February. He loved his car and spent many an hour tinkering with it. There is no one in the family who can take care of it like he did so we have passed it on to a car auction in the hope that a fellow Scirocco lover can ...

It is with regret that the family of Old Mac Rocco (Sandy) inform you that he passed away on Sat 4th February.

He loved his car and attending the shows. He will be very sadly missed.

That was the plan for today but a boiler repair, a new blind and a broken window handle all got in the way.
Who says you'll have all the time in the world to play with your car when you retire :-(

I don't have a level sensor, it's only a wee 1.6 with just the basics on her.
I've fitted a new tank and cap so i'll give her a run tomorrow and see what's happening now.
Hopefully this will have sorted it out.

Top of the expansion tank and running down over the tank sides.
To me it is a pressure thing but with both a new tank and a new top I can't figure it out.
