Re: Members location compulsory ?????

Happily it has all worked out in the end.
Your clips will be on their way as soon as normal service is resumed at the Post Office.
If there are any other small postable parts you need drop me a pm if the UK address is still available.
Cheers.

Even more good news is that it is still taxed and Mot'd.

Members location compulsory ?????

I don't know about anyone else but is it not time that a members location was made compulsory.
I don't mean the exact post code but only a rough description like "Between Knotty Ash and Blackpool" or something similar would do.
The reason I raise this point is that I have just been in contact with a ...

I may have some of these but not sure where.
I'll have a search later tonight once the festivities are over.

Re: Parcel shelf clips- anyone after any?

A few easier and simpler suggestions here,

I did mine in 2015 and they still haven't broken and I am in and out of the boot daily.
The main problem is that the clips have to be pliable and there are ...

Still going for replacement hose from the radiator to the expansion tank.

Re: Leaking expansion tank.

Hi Steve,
That was the plan for today but a boiler repair, a new blind and a broken window handle all got in the way.
Who says you'll have all the time in the world to play with your car when you retire :-(
Hopefully get it PTFE'd today and pick up some new hose on Friday.
If it all works out I'll ...

Re: Leaking expansion tank.

I think I may have cracked it but I never got a chance of a blast due to having visitors most of today.
I got ten minutes before it got too dark, so I'll give her a run tomorrow.
Fingers crossed.

Hi Mark,
Will do.
It was getting a bit cold and dark so I have still to top her up before her test drive.

Re: Leaking expansion tank.

Hi Steve,
I don't have a level sensor, it's only a wee 1.6 with just the basics on her.
I've fitted a new tank and cap so i'll give her a run tomorrow and see what's happening now.
Hopefully this will have sorted it out.

Re: Leaking expansion tank.

Hi Steve,
Top of the expansion tank and running down over the tank sides.
To me it is a pressure thing but with both a new tank and a new top I can't figure it out.
I'll try and get some pictures up today.
