I have the above 'Rocco and I'm trying to sell it. I have fitted a recent new cambelt, water pump, new alternator and given it a good service.
Bodywork is a bit ropey in places but drives well and the engine is low mileage (55,000m)

the connections to them are very simple. so long as the body is physically the same so it will mount onto the engine, you can swap the connector on the wiring loom to suit. upgrading by 20A output will be not problem at all

So if my car came with the 45a origianlly it would be ok to put the 65a on providing the connectors are the same?

Which fan belt?
Hi, I've been looking on the GSF website for service parts but there are x2 different sizes of fan belt for my 82 Scirocco!
There's a 10x940 and a 10x950. Is there any way to tell which one i need? (without measuring the old belt of course!)

I haven't checked the oil filler cap for mayo, but it runs really well and doesn't appear to be using coolant. Are you suggesting head gasket? I figured the oil pump is done or the wrong grade of oil?
