Re: New member with a 92 GT2 :)
Yes they do come up from time to time on here. If ur desparate then classic parts have them at about £45 per switch however be warned they do not have the white symbol on them so if ur only replacing one then it looks a bit odd

sold 1993 GT2
Evening guys - sad times for me as I have sold my Rocco as I decided I had anywhere to go with her. The new owner Paul should be registering on the forum soon I hope as he wants to get involved.
Looking for my next Rocco project so will be active again soon I hope.

Is the tank on an 92 mk2 gt2 (carb) pressurised - the petrol cap does not seem to have a rubber seal but I was 'informed' that I shoul hear a pressurised hiss when I fill up ?

Cheers for the part number - that will come I useful - I am fortunately blessed with smallish hands so I recon I can get in there.
Is the tank on a carbed car presurised - if the gravity pipe is knackered - would this effect it

Well just over a week ago I was on my way home when my daily(Audi 2.5 tdi 180 quattro) cut out with a lot of burning rubber smell. Called the AA and they confirmed a shredded cambelt which is never good news but gauling as I spent £3500 on servicing in October inc cambelt waterpump vibration damper ...

creaking suspension
Hi - wonder if anyone can confirm my suspisions - I have developed a creaking noise - it's only really noticeable below 10 when driving and it doesn't matter what road surface. It doesn't get any worse going around corners or roundabouts.
