Re: '80 Storm from Wales, now across the pond in Maryland
Today's fix was to glue a broken part of the drivers front turn with Locite Extreme Repair clear on my spare set of signals that I bought from a Register member of few years ago. These turns were broken while being posted from the UK to Florida :-( : https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8764/17219430842_2...

Definitely sold for too high ![Exclamation :!:](./images/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif)
I paid more for my Storm that is the same colour, but it was clean compared this one. Mine is not currently in running condition, but the motor was running the first time I saw it![vcool :vcool:](./images/smilies/cool.gif)

Don't know if you have GSF where you are but Mk2 golfs bushes fit and they are in stock and only 96p. http://www.gsfcarparts.com/732vg0010 :good: thanks, didn't know GSF price was this good. now only if doing other things was so easy, like removing the aftermarket pop up glass roof. https://farm9.s...

'80 Storm from Wales, now across the pond in Maryland
For a Scirocco that started life in Germany, was sent to its assigned market of the UK in 1980. Then in Wales in 2006 this Storm was sold to a US Air Force Airman with plans to have it travel further a field to America. His first thought was to import it to the state of Maine, but when the military ...

This is sad news, Ian sold me a repair manual for my Storm. I will miss reading comments by Ian here on the Register.
My condolences to his friends and family.

Re: mk1 storm
I was talking with my mate that I bought my 80 Black Storm from last week and he mentioned that the interior in mine was from an 81 Brown Storm he bought from Scotland and broke for parts as in it had too much rust to save it. Unfortunately my mate does not remember the plate resignation number of t...
