Re: 16v Non PS pulley setup Q's
I couldn't get my 8v ones to line up with the 16v engine, I needed to run the 16v crank pulley, so I just welded the 16v PAS pulley to the 16v Water pump pulley so they both spin when the belt spins. It was proving very difficult to find a non PAS 16v pulley.

More 16v Conversion Questions
Ok I'm using a KR from a Mk2 Golf. I have used the 16v pulleys for the crank and water pump is this the normal thing?
Also what do people do with the airbox as the 16v one is massive and won't fit, looks to me as if a Mk2 GTI 8v one would do the trick?

16v Four-Branch
Will a 16v four branch manifold from a Mk2 Golf 16v fit onto a Mk2 Scirocco 16v? Both are KR engines, the Golf is being broken for parts and the 16v is nearly ready to go into the Rocco

I have the same problem, the only thing I have found is if I pull the choke at junctions it doesn't stall.
Any ideas anybody?

Re: Brake seals
Turns out the n/s flexi was spilt, changed it (£5) brake fluid and the copper pipe, just need to get the blasted bleed screw from the caliper to bleed them proper and then she'll have brakes again! Also sporting new discs and pads while I was there
