I cut mine and welded it to the bulkhead after repairing about 10 tears in the original bulkhead.

Its miles better, Its no wear near a concourse job but the bugger doesn't flex now!

Sorry to stick this in general chat as its a bit of a mish of sections move it where you think is better if its wrong As I've got the head off sorting the washer incident I am looking at ways to improve bhp for free. I can belive it, Its a worry of mine, ive taken to blowing oil up the ends regular. just to give it some protection.

I want to build one that comes over the cam box and drops the boddys to behind the rad. Need to make some dummy pipes up to check clearences.

Ive seen lazer cut flangers (snigger) on fleabay for 10/15 quid

Update on this: Elec windows are working although the switch for the passenger window doesnt work of the drivers switch as theres a bad earth somewhere in the loom. I have G60 discs+callipers with drilled discs and pagid pads. I need to get round the the mk2 golf servo mod (i have one sat there ...

Ment to update this.

Back lamp is now dry(with a drain hole added till I can get a new lamp) and its spot on and now theres no water leak in the boot!

Id cut the various reinforcers out of the bonnet, boot and doors. If you can start cutting the wiring loom down and strip it back to the bear minimum. Plus as the driver your probably the single most heavy thing in the car so have a big power dump before you get in it. My old boss told me years ago ...

hot air gun.

I got told it by my valeter mate. Tried it on a terrano and its worked a treat. just hold it 10CM away and go easy it should start to blacken up.
