camber set up
The haynes suggest negative camber set up wouldn't this make the car feel unstable in corners
whats the best camber, caster and toe set up for a fast road car. The car has been lowered 50-60mm and has got adjustable track rods on both sides. any ideas??
thanks jon

Re: Thinking of fitting new exhaust
depends on what your after 4-1 gives you better top end and 4-2-1 gives you better low and mid range.
think 2.5" is a waste if your not running over 150bhp, so i go for 2"

Re: k-jet running problems
cheers for the reply
the car starts fine from cold but as soon as it warm and you leave it for a few minutes it wont start very well takes about 20 secs to start.
how do you check all the pressures are correct?

rear disc conversion
ive bent my rear axle, so was thinking of doing a rear disc conversion and now seems like a good time. Is it basically just a straight swap from a golf gti if you get an axle with everything on or is there more to it than that?? cheers jon

Re: weber
yeah just got a cheap one from gsf, next time it goes will probably fork out for an original one.
ive not got the vw air filter box on, just a k & n bolt on filter that sits on top, so it not being caused by the box pulling it down, its probably just the fact its a cheap one. cheers jon
