I did remove the cable from back of speedo and put it back in it worked for about 10miles or so then it started trousers about so got a new cable ok now done about 250 miles with it so far

Another of our mk2's has started giving me grief now. The rev counter works when it feels like it also when it does work there is a buzzing sound which stops when the rev counter does--loose connection? have checked he earth to the rocker cover etc, oh and the oil light is not working any ideas ...

Hi All, can anyone tell me why the needle on the speedo of my 86 gtx has started trousers about,It does it at low speed up to about 30mph and then seems ok there is slight movement at 70mph also a slight ticking noise,Is it the speedo cable at fault? or another problem--thanks.

I have been in touch with Joost he has arches I can purchase waiting for costs p&p etc. just got to find a way around the outer sills now, the mrs won't let me carve up one of our other ones!! thanks for all your help people.
