Yes there is a pump inside your tank.
Take out the rear seat, there is a black round lid, fixed with 3 screws, and there is the pump assembly.

171819099A is the partnumber for the leaf guard from the Golf.
You might have some problems by fitting it in due the Scirocco having less space under the wiper mechanism.

Thanks for the advice WreckTangle. I never ran the rear wiper motor much once it stopped working, in fact only once more to check I could hear the relay click and one further time to make sure it had 12v on the contacts. I do think it's likely that the motor has burned out as it used to run really ...

Hi peeps. Newby trying to negotiate the total lack of available parts for the rocco. I'm after front bumper brackets the attach the front bumper iron to the car and some decent rear lights that aren't a million £ and damaged. If I'm gonna pay a kings ransom I want decent undamaged ideally.

Engine model and number should be on a flat surface between 3rd and 4th cilinder at the top of the block right under the head gasket.

Saying you got a 2.0 it will be a 9A I think
