Starting to write up winter to do list and gather parts etc an I couldn’t help noticing that there are a few cars up for sale for strong money. Is the Scirocco market finally turning? Are t ...

Re: 1983 GTI +
Sad times🥲
Looks like I may need to sell the GTI.
I have lost my job and it doesn’t make sense having this sitting when We have 3 other cars and only 2 full licenses in the house[emoji23]
Trying hard to find reasons not to

18” wheels on a mk2
Has anyone run 18s on a mk2?
I’m thinking that 205/35/18 tyres is comparable to 195/55/15s in overall dimensions so therefore could work.
Yes it would be uncomfortable and probably tramline at every opportunity but...... 18s on a scirocco!!!!!![emoji7]

Thanks mark1gls.
Great info.
I’ll get more photos when I get it off of my driveway. Let’s hope that it will very soon.

1983 GTI +
Here’s my first scirocco. I have bought it due to the spec with the thought process being mod it in a Restomod Stylee. My first plan was modern show style interior (leather/alcantara with modern seats and possibly a rear cage) colour coding, 17/18” wheels etc. That all changed when I went to view it. ...
