Re: Genuine Mk2 exhaust sections
Thanks everyone here for the replies, I had already looked at classic parts.de and seen the part was not listed, however I dropped them an enquiry just to see if more would become available but unfortunately not!!. So my next question has anyone fitted one that vaguely resembles a genuine one?. The ...

Re: Genuine Mk2 exhaust sections
Thanks RussGLAuto I have looked there and I think they were the suppliers of VW heritage?. The reason I am more focused on a VAG part is the one it's replacing is the original part 31 yrs later and that tell's you a lot so the price within reason is not an issue. Having said that I understand its ...

Genuine Mk2 exhaust sections
Hi All
My Scala is in need of a new centre silencer section, I prefer a standard section and struggling to find one, anyone on here know's where to source one please?. It's a 1990 DX engine.
Thanks
Jon

I think it had some kind of sticker below the nearside rear light if it helps to identify it as the reg is covered.

Mk 2 Scala on Modern wheels or classic wheels TV show
Not sure if this has been posted before but i just watched this show on UK PLAY TV and this episode features an 89 white Scala against another classic ( Triumph Stag) and 2 modern cars. The guest test drives all 4 cars and chooses 1 to drive away, I'm not sure how old the show is but wondered if any ...

Re: Another MFA issue
Thanks Jack92 The stalk seems to check out fine but if one comes up the right price I will give it a go, I believe there are two types of digital display, one just a clock the other includes MFA function?. This is why I wondered if the fault could be there, also the vacuum unit on the back of the ...

Re: Introduce yourself
Thanks GTXTRA
The only things really needing attention are cosmetic as the car itself drives like new which is credit to the 2 previous owners i guess. Not a fan of social media so Facebook is out i'm afraid but I'm sure I can check in here to share information etc!!.
Cheers again

Re: Introduce yourself
Thanks Jack92 and mark1gls. No work required, like I said I swopped out the suspension and its had a service including genuine timing belt and tensioner. Going through the folder of invoices it had a genuine VAG filler neck fitted by VW in 2013 at quite an expense (part alone at £233.00)!!. Oh and ...

Another MFA issue
Hello to all, The MFA on my 1990 Scala hasn't worked since I bought it, display is clear and keeps perfect time. The problem is nothing happens while using the end button to scroll through the functions on both 1 and 2. I have removed the fuse to reset and nothing, had clocks out etc, continuity ok ...
