Yes I use a Gunson and find they are out around 0.5% compared to the MOT test, maybe try it at 3% to see if it runs any better but mixture is the last thing to mess with so make sure the timing is spot on before adjusting the mixture. Heres a little update, After manually getting the ignition roughly right and getting her running i thought i would go further and finish the set up.
