Hi, a couple of things to consider. (I did post above, that might help)
- All good shops will let you have a quick look around
- Is the place clean tidy organised. All shops are working environments, but you get a feel.

I dont know what condition the bonnet is in apart from the clearcoat dropping, but a couple of things to think about ref value/price
- We know the clear coat has failed, so it maybe wasn't a premium product to start with.

For what its worth, I do recall working on these when they were new.
Even the best trained, most experienced technicians sometimes struggled with these back then. Nice to see some things dont change!
