Hello Hywel,

Hope this is still going ahead as planned? If so, can you put myself and Smokey down please?

Liam.

Re: Fuse 18 keeps blowing

Common problem of coolant level sensor wire acting like a wick and drawing coolant down the wire into the fuse box, have a look behind the fuse book connection to see if it's rusty.
Adding in a loop in the wire before the fuse box can help with this problem.
Could be the reason why the fuse keeps ...

Fuse 18 keeps blowing

Hello all,
Got the Scirocco out of storage today and noticed the handbrake indicator light on the dash wasn’t illuminated when the handbrake was up.
Checked fuse 18 and it had gone, so replaced it, which it then immediately popped again.
Had a google and it says fuse 18 is for handbrake warning ...

Re: North Wales Road run 2018 Pics

Hi all,
Got home fine, it was at a steady pace being on the space saver, but went back through Snowdon so kept us at a decend speed to take in some great scenery!
Thanks to Hywel and everyone for being so welcoming on our first, we'll be back next year.

I'll be joining the A55 south of Chester (A483) around 8:30 if you wanted to meet there?

Front Arch Liner Removal

Anyone removed the front arch liners when running low on coilovers or whatever? Any issues? I try and avoid using the car in the wet and not at all in the winter. Looks like there are a few cables kicking around in there, so apart from the odd stone and bit of crud I can't see anything causing an ...

Re: Removing the crank bolt

The Haynes says to torque them to 80Nm? I wanted to swap my cam over but didn't have the new seal, tried to take the old Crank bolt out, couldn't so gave up, put the old Crank back in!

Can't see the pic you've uploaded as I'd like to know how you removed it!
