I would very much appreciate the photos of an original service key and manuals from that date of the gt2. mine came from the Manchester dealership so if anyone's number plate ends in NE I would love to see your manuals/ every bit of literature the dealer gave you or you have.

hi does anyone have an original gt2 and would you share what original keys came with the car and photograph the manual set you have. I'm trying to add the final ocd touches to mine. I would like to know what my 1990 t2 should have come with roughly thanks.

no the steering column has only two notches 180 degrees from one another. once the key is removed the wheel will either "catch" when straight or when turned at a slight angle. I need to know if a stock scirocco catches at an angle or when straight. and if my Haynes lies or not.

anyone with an untampered gt2 could tell me if the steering lock engages when the steering wheel is straight or at an angle? anyone willing to photo their steering lock engaged so I can reference mine thanks.

They are as immaculate as the photo but so long as they aren't sought after I'll stash them. I like my car original but daym they are so much comfier than gt2 bucket seats.

My Scirocco became the recipient of an old 1988 GT interior due to the GT2 seats needing to be repaired. I'm looking to put the original seats back in and got curious about the seats I have. If you remove the back seat top half then you can turn the car into a camper with a sleeping bag and the lower half of the seat as a pillow. I'll be doing the same with my partner. in the outback. Believe me the stars at night and local sounds are worth listening too camping out!

Anyone here interested in the north coast 500? I live as far up north as you can get! from experience it is beautiful, long, straight and relentlessly winding within un-monitored mountainous road.
Where better to drive? It would be such a shame to do it alone one day.
