door seals mk2 scirocco

My door seals are cracked and leaking - it's not helping that my car is kind of tilted to one side due to the state on the road after the council resurfaced it! I've found out that the part number I need is 867 867 365 G but no longer available anywhere. has anyone undertaken this - if so is there a...

Re: sunroof mk2 scirocco

ah that's a shame you're too far away for me to collect the parts because I need a couple of things. Sorry to hear about your car too!

Re: sunroof mk2 scirocco

thanks- sorry for the late response i thought I deleted this post as I felt like an idiot when I found circlips are very common haha. my sunroof is still not right - the new guide plates do allow it to go forward and back though (which is better than just tilt) - along with new wind deflector arms. ...

sunroof mk2 scirocco

I'm pretty happy today - I fitted new guide plates to the sunroof and new window deflector arms.

The sunroof is missing a tiny part though which means one part keeps popping out and it doesn't lock in place properly on a tilt - it's a- a circlip!!!

Is it even possible to buy these?!

Hi All, My car has the rusty fuel filler neck and I've read the posts I'm happy to attempt the BMW replacement From the posts I can see comments that their scirocco lockable fuel cap fitted the BMW. Re: Sunroof - does this look right?

thank you - it's impossible for me to tell what these should look like from the manuals and photos on line!

I'm running short of patience - I think i've solved one issue then only to find another

Sunroof - does this look right?

I'm buying new guide plates as mine are snapped. But as a follow up question do these pieces look normal compared with others cars? from the manuals etc I can't actually see where these should be positioned. my sunroof will tilt but not go back (partly due to snapped guide plate) but I don't want to...

Re: leaky sunroof mk2

I managed to tilt the sunroof -there was a screw missing to hold the sunroof down to the mechanism underneath (which explained why the sunroof hilariously flew up & down when closing the car doors). To cut a long story short the thing seems now to have come off the runners - I can't get out to g...

leaky sunroof mk2

Good evening all - my first post. I have a leaky sunroof - I can see ithe black seal surrounding it isn't in the best condition. I've checked the front 2 drainage channels they are clear. I have read on here that there are 2 other channels but you need to remove the sunroof to get to them. So here's...
