thanks- sorry for the late response i thought I deleted this post as I felt like an idiot when I found circlips are very common haha. my sunroof is still not right - the new guide plates do allow it to go forward and back though (which is better than just tilt) - along with new wind deflector arms. ...

I'm pretty happy today - I fitted new guide plates to the sunroof and new window deflector arms.

The sunroof is missing a tiny part though which means one part keeps popping out and it doesn't lock in place properly on a tilt - it's a- a circlip!!!

Is it even possible to buy these?!
