Temperature gauge problem
Hi all, I'm have some problems with the temp gauge on my 88 GTX (fuel injection) basically the needle doesn't move, the sender unit has been changed (the part with the two connections that sits close to the head) but no joy. Does anyone know where the wires run for this? do they go direct to the ...

Re: Unlike Bono...
That is one fantastic looking car, refreshing to see an un-body kit MK2.
BTW, what is the pre-2001 number plate style? Not sure I know what this is?

Just fitted these in mine:

Good fit and no problems. (might have to space off the rear grille a bit but easy to do).

Re: My 1988 Helios blue GTX
A few bits and bobs done since my last update, nothing spectacular but good non the less! :yup:
The speakers were starting to get on my nerves they were rattling like a big rattly thing, when I took them out I could see why; great big holes in them!

Re: What got you into MK2's then???
I've had VW's since passing my test way back in 1985 at the age of 17 I drove my dad's 1303 Beetle whenever I could until I'd saved up enough money to buy my own car; a 1200 Marina blue beetle that I paid £450 for, I had that car for years but I needed a more motorway friendly car as I was doing a ...
