Yeah i was kind of expecting rust :/. I guess id love it as a project car. Maybe if i can find the body for cheap with ALOT of work need doing, might get one.

But i guess for my price range the mk2 is good enough! and that the GTI looks alottt better thanks :D

£1500 to spend

Hey guys, pretty new here. Decided i reallllly want a mk1 scirocco. they are perfect!

But.... what are the chances of finding one for £1500? After a couple of months id have £2000 to spend.

Do many for around that price range go by at all?
There are hardly any if any on ebay,gumtree,pisonheads ...

one thing ive noticed with the mk2 is that they have a huge bonnet and once opened, youd expect a big engine bay but it looks like half of it is covered by a peice of metal from the front? what does that cover?
Think im gnna have to dip into my piggy bank for one of these :P

Hey guys.

So i recently lost my mk2 golf and found myself looking at pages and pages of sciroccos. I fell in love.

But i have a few questions... I have £1500 to buy a car and i cant seem to find many mk1 at that price. mostly mk2's for sale.
