Re: Oil pressure
At 2000rpm 80c oil temp should be 2.0 bar you would need to remove the oil sensor and fit in a test gauge. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/13pc-Oil-Pres ... 4897.l4275

Re: Passenger-side Front Quarter-Light Window
The quarters can be awkward to fit :-( . Easiest way to do it is to take out the main panel of glass then pull out the guide rail and rubbers. Then slot in the quater glass http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391077380490?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26ghostText%3D%26_sacat%3D0%...

Re: Adjusting coilovers...
You could try diffent spring rates. Most budget coilovers run on spring With high spring rates above 800Ibs. I run 225Ibs springs on the front and 350Ibs on the rears on my Porsche 944 http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/index.php?cPath=465_1153_1154 Or you can get some custom made coilovers http://www.gaz...

Re: 280mm front brake upgrade
On my old 87 golf convertible I had 280mm discs with g60 calipers with 15 inch ats cups. The calipers would foul against the wheels so I had to fit 20mm spacers.

Re: 280mm front brake upgrade
256mm will work fine on 14's. On 280mm you will need 15's or bigger. You can use the rocco hoses on the g60 calipers. Mk3 golf gti calipers upto 1995 are the same as g60s.Dazfx wrote:No I didn't.
If I run 256mm can I run 14 inch rims?

I favour the trakrite cus it's good on lowered cars. Just push the car with the wheels kept straight.
