I have the invoice for its installation somewhere, so I'm guessing it was a kit. It was installed by a previous owner, presumably to sort out running problems. I found it too fiddly though, so put a carb together from some spares. Seems to work ok now, although my initial fast idle has disappeared ...

It was a manual choke converted Pierburg, and I couldn't get along with it I much prefer the autochoke :)

Had a result today, the Scirocco passed it's MOT with the new ARB bracket and adjusted idle mixture. The CO was 0.99% this time, so a massive improvement over the previous 5.90%. I wasn't charged a retest fee either, so all in all I was pretty pleased with that :D went and taxed the car straight ...
