As we all know the scirocco is a car that is very hard to find parts for so why not startva thread about parts that fit from other models. This well help us all save a bit of cash.

Jets are fine but I think I may of found the problem took the dizzy and rota off and removed the dust cover and soakedbtge inside with a bit of wd40 and it started behaving so I think the throw out from the dizzy was a bit dry with no lube. So hopfully its sorted.

Replace the mount and its still doing it but not as much evrything seems fine eveything I can think of has been replaced still need help

The mount has split so hopefully its just that but know I need to find one by tuesday so any help would be great

They were all replaced when I did the carb 8months ago with blue silicone ones as for over fueling I would agree with you but its ran fine for that long until yesterday as for timing ive never touched it

I read that but it it has been running fine for almost a year before hand and know its playing up all the parts were replaced when it started yesterday as they were needing replaced anyway

I hate this water leak ive had all the carpet out checked the doorseal the membrane inside the door card all around the windscreen the drain holes in the engine bay there is one last thing and thats taking the wing off and having a look for rott behind it.

Here we go I keep forgetting to add stuff on here. Up to know i have fitted a 32/34 weber carb as well as a jetex single exit exhaust plus a stainless manifold. As for inside I'm still looking for the water leak. Ive replaced the door seal the boot seal and cleared the drain holes but still no joy ...

thank you thats where i have all the vac pipes. ive got it booked in on friday for the timing to be done again as when i turn it off it try's to start again and makes a massive pop sound i got told that there was to much pressure due to the timing being wrong.
