IT'S FIXED!!! Took the carb off and the "new" carb flange was badly split. No idea how it happened, it was only 6 months old from GSF. Air was getting in there casuing the revs to rise above K2.5 then the 3/4 point unit was fully retracting cauing the revs to drop again. This was happening on a ...

It's my only half running car. I walk to work but I use it to transport my 2 year old around and my girlfriend uses it for work (she dosen't go ver far). Not sure that is economically viable. The rest of the car is rather battered. Fix it or bin it.

I need one of these for my mk2 scirooco GT2 running a 2e2 carb. This is the non return valve that sits between the barke servo and the inlet manifold. I've snaped the little hose for the vacume advance. Does any one know if these are available form the GSF/eurocar parts. Failing that, ve main dealer ...

Yep, the mk1 golf is in pieces. The scirocco is the daily driver...except this weekend. I'm replacing the exhaust manifold gascket and thought I would chuck a new carb flange while I'm at it.

That sounds very precise. Would that be comparable tightness to the carb bolts?
