Also, this is probably a stupid question, but can I fit shorter springs, eg 35mm dropped apex ones on standard length boge gas shocks? Thanks

Thanks for all the help. The main reason I was looking at the coilovers is because they were a cheap temporary fix. I guess what I am after is a set of decent gas dampers but probably second hand as I cant afford them new! Are the suspension components on the rocco the same as the mk1 golf? thanks ...
