Insurance write-off? Advice please folks...

Morning all, My wife was driving her beloved '88 Scala yesterday morning, when some little nob in a company Audi raced off from the lights and smashed into the her. This shunted her into the car in front - they were stationary at the time. So, our 60,000 mile, lovely condition motor with it's two-mo...

Re: Spotted

Black early mk2 non-bodykitted, A reg - exchanged waves with the driver as we passed each other on A259 just outside Newhaven, East Sussex - part of my new daily commute to work when I was driving in my paprika red scirocco scala between Seaford and Brighton...(if I am allowed to spot myself..!) Mark 2 tyre pressures, non-standard wheels

Morning all,

The '88 Scala needs its pressures checking, I've used an online guide before but the only ones I can find now give me the recommended numbers for standard wheels.

I'm rockin' 195 50R15 tyres, anyone got any idea of the right pressure (or know where I can find out!).

Cheers,

Carlos

Re: Spotted

Who else in Seaford has a Mk2 Scirocco then? I've just spotted a silver Mk2 with colour coded body kit, reg F86 ***, parked about 2 roads away from my new house :) Think it's local as I've seen it driving through Newhaven a couple of times, albeit always when I'm in something other than my Scirocco...

I discovered the wet boot in The Chariot was caused by.......the garage overfilling the rear wash bottle! :dash:

Re: Crappiest Car I have driven!!!!!!!!

Got to disagree on the Pug 206 I'm afraid - I've had a 1.4 HDi from new (2005) and it's a great car. 120,000 miles, still on original battery, exhaust, clutch, and everything else under the bonnet except for a new starter motor six months ago. Comfortable, decent stereo, reliable, 25 quid a year roa...
