CV joint won't move
Pretty much as it says in the header.
Just fitted a new inner CV joint and the inner bit won't move, the cage can be pushed in slightly but the drive shaft doesn't move through its range of movement. So what's going on there then?

Re: Loosening the front hub nut...
Thanks Chaps, it's what I thought but it's nice to get confirmation of what's been done before. This idea lasted all of about 10 seconds be...

Loosening the front hub nut...
...what to use? I've struggled getting mine off and already bent one bar and don't want to knacker my big torque wrench. Would a 2 ft breaker bar be man enough for the job? I've seen them mentioned before in conjunction with loosening recalcitrant nuts.

A very tidy Mars red GTX on P-slots, reg CxxxOVV. Seen parked up on Myrtle Avenue in Portchester. This is just round the corner from me so I went back home and picked up a flyer, which was duly stuck under the windscreen wiper. Noticed that it had a retro-rides sticker in the back window so it's li...

A very tidy silver Mk 2 in Worthing/Sompting/Lancing area on Saturday at about 3 pm. It crossed over the A27 Upper Brighton Road from what I think was the Sompting Road. I was sat at the lights on the eastbound carriageway and waved.

Re: Spotted
Saw two on my travels this weekend A white G reg Scala in Portchester on Saturday. Spoke to the owner, it was his 7th Scirocco. He is aware of the Register but hasn't joined. The other was today at about 1 pm. It was a black Mk2 heading east on the Brighton Bypass coming up the hill from the Shoreha...
