Re: Fan Motor
Checked the fuse and it's not that. Do you think I can just exchange the fan and motor from the mk2 polo I have for the one's currently in the rocco?

Re: Fan Motor
Yeah, ran it till it's hot and it's got nothing. Bypassed the thermostat as well to see if it would work and there was nothing again.

Re: Fan Motor
Just to be clear, I'm referring to the radiator fan, not the blower

Fan Motor
Hi
Not sure if this is the right section, apologies if not. The motor for my fan appears to have packed in, and quite possibly the fan itself. I'm looking to replace both anyway and I'm about to break a mk2 polo saloon...I was just wondering if anyone knew if I could just lift the fan and motor ...

Sunroof Jammed
Managed to jam my sunroof shut a few weeks ago by turning the crank the wrong way...bit stupid but...and basically I was just wondering if there was any way of removing the sunroof without actually getting it open, cause I obviously can't do that.
Otherwise, I'm going to take a sledgehammer to it ...

Re: Headlights
I do like the square version, but I've seen a lot of mk1s and think that the round light look has a lot more to be said for it. Each to there own I guess anyway.
I was thinking something that looks like this, with the black bits of grill that go in between the lights...

Headlights
Hi all,
Was admiring a particularly nice mk1 the other day and have slightly fallen for the circular headlight look as opposed to the rectangular ones currently on my gt2. Does anyone know if there was a mk2 model that had circular headlights, or whether the mk1s will swop to the mk2s?
Thanks for ...

Re: Carb mount
It's not touching the bonnet, there's no impression in the foam anyway. I'll try making a new bracket then, thanks a lot for your help.

Re: Carb mount
Yeah, it is the standard air box. It's been modified tho, the previous owner fitted a metal ring on the bottom where it attaches to the carb, about an inch deep, so it would fit over the top of the bolt that attaches the air box to the carb. So now the air box is too high up to be attached to the ...

Carb mount
Hi,
I've got a GT, had it for about 6 months now. Basically, I had to remount the carb when I bought it because someone had stuck it on with silicon etc...after it had been put on properly, the mount split after a few weeks, I thought because one of the bolts was knackered and too tight. However ...

Re: Anyone know how to fix this?!
it's the weber conversion. they'd glued it on cause the mount had split and it had like cardboard gaskets...
