I have used this before and seems to be ok, it is not Matt black though. But it does not seem to be that bad regarding the gloss black look.

Re: MOT failure - advice please
I would come and give you a hand as I am not that far away from you.
I am busy this weekend, but if you really do get stuck I am sure I could spare about an hour.
I will message you my phone number.

Re: Lenny125's Project GTI
Another update I got the engine out and cleaned up and checked over. Then I got the first coat of paint on, I have decided to go black and silver so it would tie in with the colour of the car. http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww79/lenny125/project%20rocco/IMAG0017.jpg http://i707.photobucket.com/a...

Re: Lenny125's Project GTI
Just a quick update, I got my rear seats back today from the guy who was re-triming them for me. I am totaly thrilled with the finshed product, I know I could not get the same pattern as the old seats. But I did find some material what was very similar and it does not look out of place. Heres some p...

Any good bodyshops
I am not sure if this is in the right section or not. I am after a really good bodyshop in Surrey, Hampshire Border or West sussex Border. I know about Phirm FX as I really wanted them to do the work but they have got a years waiting list, so it can't really wait that long. So that is why I am calli...

Re: Lenny125's Project GTI
It has been a very long time since I have posted anything up on my project thread, but now I have got more time and money. I have put lots of plans together and have now started getting things moving. My plan is to strip it down to just it's bare shell, then send it to a body shop to get all the rus...

Re: Tracking - near Weybridge (Surrey)
I would be happy to do your tracking for you, if you have not had it done already.
The only thing is that I am not that close to you. Type this into google maps GU26, and i'll let you decide

Re: How hard is this interior to find?
It is very hard to even get some of that seat material because I really wanted to re-trim mine with the same material as it has faded. So months of searching I have found something what is fairly close to the pattern. I just really hope it does work though and it won't look so out of place. Hopefull...

Re: Coming back for more..
The best person to speak to is Rusty dan as he has done the 16v conversion on his lovely white lady haha, plus he lives down in pompy area so very close to you. All though I am only half hours drive away from pompy but my rocco has not got a 16v conversion. I am a mechanic though so I do know my stu...

Re: Bumper strip
It would be easier to take the bumper strips out and spray them but the only problem will be is when putting them back in. I was going to do the same so I bought some new ones and took them down to a bodyshop and they said when putting the strips back in it will crack the paint on them. So I have to...
