I believe they are 4 headlights the same size (both main and high beam) as uk cars have bigger headlights and smaller high beam.

The page before shows the US car with the massive bumpers and Euro headlights.

The "Euro" headlights have a smaller lamp on the inside and a larger lamp on the outside. While the US spec cars had the 4"x6" lamps on both the high and low beams. As seen in this picture.

My first scirocco "AMBA" seemed jinxed from the start of my ownership. A newly passed her test driver destroyed the passenger door and quarter panel. Once fixed by a dealership the following death blow by an uninsured driver with no licence occurred. This was back in 1989 so "AMBA" wasn't that old but with the structural damage (bent like a banana) Resurrection wasn't an option.

The uninsured driver didn't hang around for me to check if they were ok..... Although I was in the mood to break a few bones for good measure. I had literally just washed and polished it and was in the process of putting the cleaning stuff away.

Yeah red cars were in, so I thought a white one..... to be different.
