Golf *v GTI Calipers

Does anyone know if 1991 Mk2 Golf 8v GTI calipers will fimt my Mk2 GTX 8v (1985)......... :read:

If they are the front calipers, then yes.

If they are the rear calipers, you will also require stub axles, 16v rocco handbrake cables, etc, etc

Cheers, Just front ones mate....mine could be goosed. got a wind back tool to try at weekend see what they like.

they won't fit. you will need different carriers to make them fit, not sure if the calipers will swop straight on to your carriers but the mk2 goof caliper/carriers will defo not bolt straight on your Rocc.

I will have a set of 236 scirocco calipers, probably need a good clean for £15 on top of postage.

Spot on mate. As long as pistons are free would def be interested if mine are shot but wont get to check mine until hopefully the weekend

sh*t sorry mate. Could have sworn they were the same.

to make up for my stupidness, i have a good rocco pair you can have gratis if you can collect from near basingstoke way. Havent got time to be faffing with post though!
