Hi Guys,

Looking for A Mk1, I last owned a 1.6 gls in gold 10 years ago and would love to find another Mk1

please let me know of any cars that may be available, thank you :)

Welcome back tobyio, and good luck with your search.

Looking at Scirocco GLS manual for example on howmanyleft, amazingly there are more known to DVLA now than there were in 2012, so they don't seem to be getting any rarer:

I am sure prices have risen substantially though. The most recent auction result was £18.5k, though it looks to be a top end example with only 23k miles (albeit with aftermarket sunroof):

I've got a Mk1 1.6 GTi thats been in a garage for 19 years. TAG 845W. It was a runner when it was garaged. It has not been started for about 18 years so not sure what getting it back on the road would involve or whether it would be worth it.
