15"x8" or 15"x9"

Post by Fatbastard »

I have bought a 1986 mk2 GTX 1,8 16v and this will be a car with big plans :pilot:

Will start this year with coils and rims and I wonder if I can go with 15"x8" ET20 if possible? 195/45/15 stretch.

Regards from Sweden 😁

As long as you like driving in straight lines it will be fine...

Depending on how low you want at the front you can remove the wheel arch liner and maybe roll the arches to give you some extra room. Also, different brands of tyre have a different shoulder profile - rounder ones will give you an extra couple of mm.
