Re: mk1 wiper motor - has anyone fitted this upgrade kit?
I changed mine for a mk3 golf wiper motor as I could not find a Mk1 Scirocco wiper motor, I cut the plug and some of loom off a mk3 golf then put spade connectors on the wires so I could plug it into the original socket and wiring.
I guess that’s what they have done with there motors, cost me about £10 for a motor and loom from a scrap yard.
Made a lot of difference in the speed and strength of my wiper.
I had to redrill the holes in the bracket to get the motor to fit if you PM your email I can send some pictures of the difference as the golf motor was the other way around to the Scirocco motor.
If you can get a loom a new motor is £20 from eBay?

I can send a picture/let you know which wires from the later loom goes to on the Scirocco connector if needed?

That plug is just the plastic bit so you will need the wire and connectors as well.
You need to find a mk3, possible Mk4 golf, seat or Skoda in a scrap yard which you can get the wiper loom from as I think lots of VAG cars have a similar connector to your new wiper motor, you just need that same plug at the wiper motor end and then just cut the loom about 10cm from the plug then you have a bit of wire to play with.
