People from the East, if you're interested in joining-up en-route, let's plan the convoy here.

It looks like for me it would be convenient to meet up on the A14 somewhere near Kettering. I'd suggest the Little Chef services between junctions 9 and 8 westbound. Apparently this is one of the branches that had a revamp when Heston Blumenthal tried to improve their fortunes.

We'd need to meet at around 07:30 to get to Welcome Break, Telford (M54) for the planned 09:00 rendez-vous.

We could also meet with people coming from the south (planning on M1/M6) at Corley services, which is the first one on the M6 westbound after the M1/M6/A14 meeting.

I reckon we'd be here around 08:00.

N.B. Timings based on strict adherence to maximum allowable speed limit (i.e. mostly 70mph).

I'll meet up with you... I was hoping something was going to happen from our direction.

I shall be travelling down the A14 and happy to meet at either location as suggested; Champagne Mk2 - G-Dub.
