Part Numbers request!

Post by Bonusrocco »

Hi,

I'm trying to find some part numbers if anyone can help! VAGCat is just dead for me...

1. Main gearbox to engine bolts - mk2/3 golf/scir/corr 16v

2. Metal clips with hole in to retain brake flexi-hoses (little c shaped things) on mk1 chassis.

Thank thank thank you

If you mean the clip where the hose goes through it will be 803611715

Thank thank thank you

I think the bolts your after are

N 101 028 03 Hexagonal Head Bolt BM8X98-PC Quantity 3 manual gearbox

That's under 1991 Golf, Transmission securing parts 1.6-2ltr

Although 3 bolts doesn't seem right to me?

3 bolts is correct. Two at the top and one near the inner CV. The other two bolts are the starter motor bolts. And there are are a few smaller ones for the cover(s) depending on what box/engine you have.

Brake C clip from GSF - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Rear-Br ... 0662105397 - I can't imagine a genuine VW one would be any different in quality :good:

Bit of a difference in price though:

GSF £2.99 each

VW £0.11 each on my bill from last week.

There's six on the car. Do you want to pay £0.66 or £17.94?!

ALWAYS check with the dealer first!
