Have you tried Dr Dubs site?

Drivers Found, is also a good site as it has all the old sales booklets and they make some interesting reading. What year car are you enquiring about?

Did try Dr Dubs, but could only see info on the Melbourne. this one doesn't have the look i'm after, and also seems quite rare
Not after a specific year as such. I'm going to be hiding my stereo, so want something that is standard, but also looks 'right'
I think 'right' for me would start at the GT2 / late mk2 golf age, and then work backwards
Drivers found looks to be a good start for me, thanks :)

I removed the same from my Scala, still in my garage.

I've had a mixture of Blaupunkts and Panasonics in my various Sciroccos - there doesn't seem to be much consistency with age or model correlating to a particular manufacturer.

I can't remember individual model numbers, but a rough history includes:

92/K GTII - Panasonic
89/G 1.8 GT - Blaupunkt
89/G 1.8 GT - Panasonic
88/F 1.8i Scala - Panasonic
85/C 1.8 GTL - Blaupunkt
82/X 1.8 GTI - Blaupunkt Paris

My 88/F mk.2 Golf has a Panasonic

I think all the other ones I've owned have had aftermarket stereos.
