ISO Harnes????

Post by jxp »

Just checked the cabling into my original Blaupunkt Cambridge M23 ready for fitting a Sony head unit and new ISO harnes. Not quite what I expected as the cabling doesnt match the ISO I have.

Can anyone let me know if I can get an ISO for the config shown in the pic....

I think that the larger block is the ISO connector for power etc, and the two smaller ones are the speakers. You could chop the blocks off these and wire-up an ISO speaker connector from any old ISO harness. I doubt that there is a simple harness you could attach onto your existing blocks.

Had a feeling that would be the answer....I was hoping to wasily swap the head unit if going to shows for originality...I will have a play with some wire cutters over the next few days......

Little bit of extra work, but just add an ISO femal onto the car side of the original plugs to allow you to do that. Just cut an extra inch or so of wiring off and bob's yer uncle.

Those are old skool din connectors!

Did the car come with those? You may have an old amp hidden away somewhere that these are wired into.
