Re: Source selector
all head units or all sony head units?
no on both counts by the looks of it! only sony units that support the bus system. whatever that is.

Re: Source selector
Older alpine stuff uses the bus system. I've got an old alpine unit i'm trying to sell and i also have an old sony ten disc changer as well as the alpine 6 disc one so it could turn the unit into a 17 disc monster. Assuming both bus systems are compatible anyway. I'll go for it mate. Might as well take a chance at that price. Does it come with the lead?

Re: Source selector
If you dont have a sony head unit with a bus system dont buy it!
It will only work with the sony bus, it just allows you to plug in more than one device IE MD changer, CD changer, satnav module etc etc.

Re: Source selector
so even though it's the same plug, it's not compatible? Sony bus and alpine's m-bus are different? I may just have it anyway. I've got a sony head with a knackered cd player and a sony 10-disc changer.
