Re: bought a new mk1
its been a since i posted some update for this car.
but i gladly can say, i take this week off and fully committed to the car.
i have already taken of all the parts of the car, and the interior is out.
and talked to the painter. and he will let me know how much money he's going to take from me.
photo's will come tomorrow because the photographer put them on a usb-stick for me.
i'll keep you updated

Re: bought a new mk1
it's been almost a year since i did something on this thread, but i haven't been sitting down in the meanwhile.
the car has been relocated to the bodyshop this summer, and i went over to see how the progress is.
the car will be finished between christmas and new year.
unfortunatly i didn't brought my telephone with me when i was in the shop. so i don't have any pictures.

Re: bought a new mk1
i'll continue the story as i left it a bit behind, just before the car comes back to me:D
i renewed the pictures as some of them didn't work anymore.
i cleared the whole bottom of the car to see if there is anything hidden under the undercoating:
oh well you'll get the idea.. it's something i won't do for fun.

Re: bought a new mk1
Thats the reason why i bought it. The bodyshop sandblast little rust places to get the surface rust of.
But no major rust damage to the car...
The car isnt back yet. Hopefully next week. Im so nervous.
