Another 12 month ticket for 'low and slow' - tester still wants to buy it.

recently fitted a headlamp loom made up by 'forum spark' petegli - huge improvement even with just the std bulbs - cheers Pierre!

stereo not working - had the 80's tastic security card in my wallet for a few days and the security swipe card for my office seems to have messed it up...........oh well, good excuse to check the halfords special deals on an iphone friendly kenwood or sony at some point.

SO......

Since Christmas and now that work has 'stabilised' ......New stereo fitted - one of those insert the i-phone into the body of the stereo jobbies. Jury out re that.

Down to see Paul and Tim at the Phirm today and, knowing my limits, Rouge had an overdue tune up, intermediate shaft seal, cam belt and gear linkage overhaul session and trial fitted these..........

Refurbed AEZ Cups - this is how I got them -

That was never going to last as a look - still need to decide re centre caps..

Happy.

water pump and new plug leads to come - plus the ovedue gauge set.

Think these AEZ's are going to stay for a while, really liking them...........

Caps sorted thanks to leftover karmann stickers I had made for the old Mim rims that I used to run on the 16v.

yeah - Inters for sure and Dubs Mania before that, then we'll see. Will always factor in Edition too.

Tailgate is some surfact rust, been rubbed down and treated in anticipation of eventual paint on this one - back of the queue this one but it was never meant to be the 'showy' one anyways.

cheers

Wheels look spot on - nice work with the centres - I was thinking something along the lines of the Estoril caps, nice and simple.

Dare I say it wouild look even better with a bit more of a drop..? :diablo:
