cheap (ish) GT2 daily

Post by Nate »

yeah, so you buy a car to just drive it and not spend any money on. and here it is:

Image

the suspension is tired. handles ok, but none too sharp. "hero" brand tyres are interesting to say the least. pierburg carb is more or less working, but does tend to come back on choke once you get up some speed in sub zero temperatures. so take a deep breath, reach for a beer and a barclaycard, and hit the internet...

Looks nice and tidy, if there was nothing wrong with it what would you do in the evenings and weekends? :-D

I currently don't have evenings and my weekends are quite short. Hence the idea of buying one I can just drive

Might have been. I saw it on facecloth. Someone tagged me in the post on the cars for sale in Oxfordshire page

Postie has been busy today! Set of 4 new toyos, new springs and shocks, pair of strut braces, spigot rings so I can put my borbets on, and a few other little bits. Gonna be a busy weekend!

FYI, thought I recognised it. RR ad:

Echoing others - exterior looks nice and tidy, and looks like it's had all the right stuff done.

It will stop there, other than routine maintenance. Need to get at least one of my other 3 project vws on the road!
