Wunderbar! Booked in at a place in Cradley Heath for Wednesday, hopefully be taxed and MOT'd by next Friday, fingers crossed!

As a side note, my mate at the garage she is currently living at took her for a spin down the industrial estate. Apparently you can tell "she really wants to go when you hit the throttle." God, I'm excited :yahoo:

MOT'd at last. At long last. Gutted I missed Cosford, didn't have the heart to turn up in my Golf again after all the torment of getting this old girl through her yearly health check sad as it sounds.

Roll on September 1st. Then roll on Edition 38. :chill:

Updates soon.

Have done a bit more work to the car today. Started by changing the rear sections of the body kit as these were scuffed when I got the car.

An example of the worst bit...

Image

So this was removed along with the other side and rear section, I was greeted by this...

This car never ceases to amaze me. Fantastic condition all things considered. Put the new sections on, will take pictures when the tiger seal has dried.

While the car was on stands, I cleaned up the rear arches again. They weren't in too bad a state just loads of tar spots. Some Autosmart Tardis doing its thing...

Image

Forgot to take a pic of the arches looking clean!

Also took the time to fit poly exhaust hangers too. Will be coming back to this soon to repaint the drums and re-polish the back box.

Feeling the love for this car again big time.

Dammit! Forgot this bad boy...

Image

Genuine VW (possibly Votex?) fire extinguisher and bracket that fixes to the bottom of the seat. Had this for ages, was gonna put it in my Golf but decided to treat the Scirocco instead.
